VECTOR+

Vector+

The book, and what surrounds it. Ilya Norin is a pen name.

This book is a record of what happened to me: out-of-body states from early childhood, a Reiki attunement, three regression hypnosis sessions, an exorcism on Mount Athos, Mount Kailash, years of Kriya Yoga — and the dark night of the soul that all of it collapsed into.

Echoes of that experience turned up later in different religions and magical systems. The overlaps are what made me start writing it down: it looked less like a private anomaly and more like terrain that has been described before, in scattered accounts and in different languages.

I am not offering to lead anyone. I wrote the route down because when I was walking it, I could not find a single honest account from the inside.

The book

It opens like this:

Before you is a dry, documented testimony of one of the many paths the human consciousness may take when it meets the flip side of dense reality. There are no ready-made dogmas here, no universal truths, no attempt to create yet another teaching. This is merely a chronicle of borderline states that go beyond the usual perception of the material world. The experience recorded on these pages is neither a medical diagnosis nor a religious canon. It is a living protocol of how the human radar is capable of opening up to cosmic voltage, and how light and darkness intertwine in the geometry of a single life — making, every day, a choice toward one of the two vectors.

Two vectors

The book ends on a single distinction, and the title comes from it. It is not a system and not a method. It is the one thing I arrived at.

Vector+ — service to others

Warm points of light joined to one another by thin lines, with no centre

When a person's actions, thoughts, or intentions help someone else bring out what is theirs. He shares what he has — attention, support, warmth — and the other person has more of it afterwards.

Vector− — service to self

Pale points around the edge, every line running into a single dark core

When a person lives on other people's strength: through fear, pressure, manipulation. He has more afterwards; the other has less.

Every day, in every act, one of the two gets chosen. After everything described in the book, my conclusion is this: that daily choice is the only territory we actually own — and it is the whole of what I have to offer.

If it was useful to you

There is no publisher behind this book and no marketing budget — only me and this page. Two things genuinely help: telling someone who might need it, and leaving an honest review.

An honest one helps more than a kind one. If something did not work for you, or read as invention, say that too: it lets the next person work out faster whether this is their book.
